In response to some new contracts from existing and new clients, our Winnipeg office has full-time openings for junior and intermediate level environmental field technicians and technologists. If you have the background and interest to conduct site remediation projects (including drilling and excavations), soil & groundwater sampling, installation and maintenance of remediation equipment, and monitoring of subsurface conditions, you could be a good fit for these positions.
Successful candidates will receive appropriate training in field procedures and worksite health and safety from senior staff and other qualified experts. Some travel is required, therefore you will be driving a company vehicle. A copy of your valid driver’s license and driver’s abstract will be required. You will also be asked to complete a medical examination, and authorize us to conduct random drug testing, a requirement of some of our clients.
Open to both experienced and entry-level technicians/technologists, the salary and level of responsibility for these positions will be commensurate with experience. Graduates (or upcoming graduates) from programs in Environmental, Civil, Chemical, Groundwater, Petroleum or similar technical programs, would be a good fit for us.
