We are looking for several junior professionals and technicians to join the team in our CALGARY office. Successful candidates will receive on-the-job training, coupled with their formal education to conduct environmental assessment fieldwork. More specifically, duties will include executing field programs with borehole drilling, monitor well and pumping equipment installation, soil vapor surveys, groundwater monitoring, excavations, and a variety of other environmental activities both in the upstream and downstream sectors. You will receive excellent training to handle the above projects.
An organized, hands-on person with good communication skills, problem solving capability, the ability to work independently and to multi-task, would be a good fit for this type of work. A company truck will be provided, therefore a valid driver’s license is mandatory. Some out-of-town travel is required.
Consideration will be given to applicants with a degree or a diploma in geological engineering, civil (environmental) engineering, environmental science, earth science, geology, or similar programs.
